Monkey Illustration Greeting Cards - Coquerel's Sifaka - 6 Cards

Here is an absolutely beautiful set of six (6) greeting cards. The full-color illustration seen here of Coquerel's Sifaka was reproduced from the original prints drawn by the famous Victorian era illustrator J.G. Keulemans, and published in 1896.  The prints were made under the direction of Henry Forbes who was the Director of Museums in Liverpool, England and also a renowned naturalist in the latter half  of the 19th Century. Forbes' work on monkeys was scientific, yet popular and contained accurate, colorful prints.

These lovely cards are printed on white glossy card stock, which makes the illustration stand out so well on the cards that many of our customers will use some to mail to family and friends and others to frame and hang in their home or give as a special gift.

The image seen here fills completely the entire front of the card while the inside of the card is blank and the back contains a brief descriptive text about the art and artist. Each card is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded, includes matching envelope and are wrapped as a set in a protective and resealable polybag.  The set is shipped in a corrugated box.
